The Annual Civil War Weekend in Hurricane, West Virginia. This event actually commemorates two engagements of the Civil War separated by a space of several years. Reenactors commemorate the skirmish of 1863 at Hurricane Bridge and the Scary Creek skirmish held at the Valley Park (Wave Pool location).
